Tripoint Corporation has won a three year contract with the Victorian Department of Human Services (DHS) as a member of its panel for the provision of development services in the PeopleSoft CRM / Tibco EAI environment. This panel of IT service providers has been established by DHS to improve the speed of its quote seeking and selection of suitable developers and reduce the departments overall cost of development.
The contract for the panel is for three years with two two-year options to extend up to August 2014. The companies participating in the panel contract are Tripoint, BearingPoint, HCL, Oakton and Satyam.
DHS is Victoria’s largest state government department, responsible for the delivery of health, housing and community services. It employs more than 11,000 people.
For the panel, DHS sought suitably qualified and experienced parties to supplement its internal resources for the ongoing development, maintenance and support of solutions based on the PeopleSoft CRM and Tibco EAI architecture. Development services include the full lifecycle of software development, strategy development and upgrades.
