Managed Services
Tripoint’s Managed Services division, established in 1999, offers Higher Education customers a full suite of fixed and flexible solutions for managing and hosting applications, middleware, databases and infrastructure.
Education institutions can select from a number of different Tripoint service options to help them with the day to day administration of their systems, including functional and technical support for applications and middleware, application patch management, application enhancements and upgrades, security management, legacy system support, application lifecycle management and a full hosting service operated from Tripoint’s Tier One Data Centre in Sydney, Australia.
Tripoint also offers a service for monitoring and managing on-campus and remote databases, networks, servers and storage. This specialised Infrastructure Managed Service guarantees very high levels of availability and business continuity, at a low risk – increasingly important in the Higher Education sector. Key services we provide include database administration, server management, virtualisation support, IaaS and data de-duplication. These services are ISO:9001 certified and implemented via an ITIL-based delivery process.
